Hi, I’m Erin! I’m the artist and therapist behind Pretty Words’ Honest Art Workshops!

I started both painting and feeling big feelings before I started kindergarten. Over the years, I learned watercolor, calligraphy, and the privilege of holding life’s significant moments through art. Through Pretty Words, I painted custom wedding invitations, baby announcements, and decor for people’s homes, offices, and classrooms. After I finished graduate school, I retired my custom calligraphy business and focused on creating a warm, creative, and empathetic counseling practice. It feels like it was only a matter of time before these two passions collided, making my heart burst with hope for community care, creative expression, and lasting healing made possible in these spaces.

I’ve kept the name “Pretty Words” simply because I don’t have the heart to give it up. I love how this business has expanded and grown to include every new adventure over the last ten years. The goal has always, always, always been connection and I’m so excited to connect with you all through art and therapeutic care. Thanks for being here!
